The saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Madinah will be left in the best state it ever was

There will be rulers who torment you and Allah will torment them

23 بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ شُهُودٌ بِالثَّنَاءِ الْحَسَنِ وَالسَّيِّئِ

You are witnesses over one another through good and bad praise

24 لَا تَنْقَضِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَقَعَ الْخَسْفُ وَالْمَسْخُ وَالْقَذْفُ

This world will not end until there occur sinking of the earth, transformation and pelting with stones

25 جُعِلَتْ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ خَمْسُ فِتَنٍ

Five trials have been placed in this Ummah

31 ذِكْرُ حَبْسِ سَيْلٍ تَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ نَارٌ 8416 - أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعَوْفِيُّ ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ فَارِسٍ ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ - ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ السُّلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ، قَالَ : " تَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنْ حَبْسِ سَيْلٍ تَسِيرُ بِسَيْرٍ بَطِيئَةٍ ، تَكْمُنُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَتَسِيرُ بِالنَّهَارِ ، تَغْدُو وَتَرُوحُ ، يُقَالُ : غَدَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَاغْدُوا ، قَالَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَقِيلُوا ، رَاحَتِ النَّارُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَرُوحُوا ، مَنْ أَدْرَكَتْهُ أَكَلَتْهُ " .

32 لَا تَزَالُ الْأُمَّةُ عَلَى شَرِيعَةٍ مَا لَمْ تَظْهَرْ فِيهِمْ ثَلَاثٌ

The Ummah will remain upon the Shariah as long as three things do not appear among them

33 تَكْثُرُ الصَّوَاعِقُ عِنْدَ اقْتِرَابِ السَّاعَةِ

Thunderbolts will increase as the Hour approaches

34 بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ تَسْلِيمَ الْخَاصَّةِ ، وَفُشُوَّ التِّجَارَةِ

Before the Hour there will be greeting only special people and the spread of trade

The best of people during times of tribulation

Allah will send a pleasant wind that will take the soul of everyone who has any good in his heart

37 إِيَّاكَ وَالْفِتَنَ لَا يَشْخَصْ لَهَا أَحَدٌ

Beware of tribulations, no one will be able to stand up to them

38 لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ قَائِمًا يُقَاتِلُ عَلَيْهِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ

This religion will remain established, with the Muslims fighting for it until the Hour is established

39 إِذَا وُضِعَ السَّيْفُ فِي أُمَّتِي لَمْ يُرْفَعْ عَنْهَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

When the sword is placed among my Ummah, it will not be lifted from it until the Day of Resurrection

40 التَّفَقُّهُ لِغَيْرِ الدِّينِ مِنْ عَلَامَاتِ الْفِتَنِ

Acquiring knowledge of jurisprudence for other than the religion is among the signs of tribulation

The dream of Kharijah bin al-Husayn concerning the tribulation

The man with two thin shins from Abyssinia will extract the treasure of the Kaaba

43 لَيَعُودَنَّ الْأَمْرُ كَمَا بَدَأَ حَتَّى يَكُونَ كُلُّ إِيمَانٍ بِالْمَدِينَةِ

The matter will return as it began, until all faith is gathered in Madinah

44 تَكُونُ أَمْوَاتُ الْمُتَّقِينَ رِيحًا طَيِّبَةً عِنْدَ قُرْبِ السَّاعَةِ

The death of the pious will be by a pleasant wind near the Hour

45 التَّنَاكُحُ فِي الطُّرُقِ مِنْ عَلَامَاتِ السَّاعَةِ

Copulating in the streets is among the signs of the Hour

46 يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ لَا يَبْقَى فِيهِ مُؤْمِنٌ إِلَّا لَحِقَ بِالشَّامِ

A time will come upon the people when no believer will remain except that he joins al-Sham

You will remain in good as long as your desert dwellers are independent of your town dwellers

When tribulations occur, faith will be in al-Sham

95 الشَّامُ صَفْوَةُ اللَّهِ مِنْ بِلَادِهِ

Al-Sham is Allah's chosen land among His lands

Whoever recites Surah al-Kahf, the Dajjal will not be given power over him
