أخبرني محمد بن المؤمَّل بن الحسن، حدثنا الفضل بن محمد بن المسيَّب، حدثنا نُعيم بن حمّاد، حدثنا يحيى بن حمزة، حدثنا ثَوْر بن يزيد، عن خالد بن مَعْدان حدثني عُمَير بن الأسوَد قال: أتيتُ عُبادةَ بنَ الصامت وهو نازلٌ ساحلَ [حمصَ] (3) في بناءٍ له ومعه امرأتُه أَمُّ حَرَام، فحدَّثَتنا أمُّ حرام أنها سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "أولُ جيشٍ من أمَّتي يَعْزُون البحرَ قد أَوجَبُوا" قالت: قلت: يا رسول الله، أنا فيهم؟ قال: "إِنَّكِ فيهم"، ثم قال رسول الله ﷺ: "أولُ جيشٍ من أمَّتي يَغزُون مدينةَ قيصرَ مغفورٌ لهم" قلت: يا رسول الله، أنا فيهم؟ قال: "لا" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط البخاري، ولم يُخرجاه!

It is narrated from Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The first army of my Ummah to fight at sea has made (Paradise) obligatory (for themselves)." I said: O Messenger of Allah! Am I among them? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, you are among them." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first army of my Ummah to attack the city of Caesar (Constantinople) is forgiven." I said: O Messenger of Allah! Am I (also) among them? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده صحيح.
Grading: The chain of this hadith is sahih.
وأخرجه البخاري (2924) عن إسحاق بن يزيد الدمشقي، عن يحيى بن حمزة، بهذا الإسناد. فاستدراك الحاكم له ذهولٌ منه.
Reference / Source: This hadith was recorded by al-Bukhari (Sahih al-Bukhari: 2924) from Ishaq bin Yazid al-Dimashqi, who narrates from Yahya bin Hamzah with this chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Hakim's listing of it (in the Mustadrak) is an oversight on his part (since it is in al-Bukhari).
وانظر حديث أنس بن مالك عن أم حرام - وهي خالته - في "مسند أحمد" 44/ (27032).
