It is narrated from Khalid bin Urfutah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Khalid, after me there will certainly arise (ever new) calamities, trials and disputes. So if you are able to be the servant of Allah who is killed and not the one who kills, then do so."
Ali bin Zayd al-Qurashi is alone in narrating this hadith from Abu Uthman al-Nahdi, and the two Shaykhs did not use Ali bin Zayd as evidence.
