It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Before the Hour there will be tribulations like pieces of the dark night. In them a man will be a believer in the morning and become a disbeliever by the evening, and will be a believer in the evening and become a disbeliever by the morning. People will sell their religion for (a small amount of) worldly goods."
