حدثنا محمد، حدثنا بَحْر بن نصر، حدثنا ابن وهب، حدثنا معاوية بن صالح، عن أبي الزاهريَّة، عن كعب قال: لا تكون الملاحمُ إلَّا على يدي رجلٍ من آل هِرَقلَ، الرابعِ أو الخامسِ يقال له: طبارة (1).

It is narrated from Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The great battles (al-malahim) will take place only at the hands of the fourth or fifth man from the family of Heraclius, who will be called 'Tabarah'."

(1) إسناده ضعيف لانقطاعه بين أبي الزاهرية - وهو حدير بن كريب - وبين كعب الأحبار.
Grading: This chain is "da'if" (weak) due to "inqita'" (a break in the chain) between Abu al-Zahiriyyah (Hudayr bin Kurayb) and Ka'b al-Ahbar.
وأخرج نعيم بن حماد في "الفتن" (1390) بإسناد فيه ضعف أيضًا من طريق يزيد بن خمير، عن كعب قال .... والملاحم على يدي رجل من آل هرقل.
Reference / Source: Nu'aym bin Hammad narrated in "al-Fitan" (1390), via the route of Yazid bin Khumayr from Ka'b, with a chain that also has weakness, that he said: "… and the great battles (malahim) will be at the hands of a man from the family of Heraclius (Hiraql)."
Grading: This chain is "da'if" (weak) due to "inqita'" (a break in the chain) between Abu al-Zahiriyyah (Hudayr bin Kurayb) and Ka'b al-Ahbar.
