It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until the pilgrimage (Hajj) to the House of Allah is abandoned."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but the two Shaykhs did not record it in their books.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
(1593). Technical note / Defect ('illah): Despite the reliability of its narrators, this text is "shadh" with this wording, because Shu'bah was contradicted in this wording. The correct wording is what will come later under number (8605), and it is what al-Bukhari preferred, citing it in mu'allaq form after hadith (1593). Takhrij: This (shadh) narration of Shu'bah was narrated by Ibn Hibban (6750) via Yahya bin Sa'id al-Qattan from him, with this same chain.
