أخبرنا أحمد بن جعفر القَطِيعي، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حَنبَل، حدثني أَبي، حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد (1)، حدثنا هشام بن هشام بن حسَّان، حدثني حُميد بن هلال، عن أبي الدَّهْماء، عن عِمران بن حُصين الخُزاعي قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "مَن سَمِعَ منكم بخروج الدَّجّالِ فليَنأَ عنه، فإنَّ الرجل يأتيه فيَحسَبُ أنه مؤمنٌ، فما يزالُ يَتبَعُه مما يَرى من الشُّبُهات" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. ولا أعلمُ أحدًا ذكر عن هشام بن حسان في إسناده [أبا الدهماء] (3) غير يحيى بن سعيد:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever of you hears of the emergence of the Dajjal should keep away from him, for a man will go to him thinking that he is a believer, but because of the doubts that he (the Dajjal) will raise, he will keep following him."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it, and I do not know of anyone other than Yahya bin Sa'id who mentioned Abu al-Dahma' in the chain of Hisham bin Hassan.

(1) تحرَّف في النسخ الخطية إلى: معبد. ويحيى بن سعيد هذا: هو القطّان.
Note / Clarification: In the manuscripts this name was corrupted into "Ma'bad".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): And this Yahya bin Sa'id is "al-Qattan".
(2) إسناده صحيح. أبو الدهماء: هو قِرفة بن بُهيس. وهو في "مسند أحمد" 33/ (19875).
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Abu al-Dahma' is "Qirfah bin Buhays".

وأخرجه أبو داود (4319) من طريق جرير بن حازم، عن حميد بن هلال، عن أبي الدهماء، به. وانظر ما بعده.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (4319) narrated it by way of Jarir bin Hazim from Humayd bin Hilal from Abu al-Dahma'. See the next narration.
قوله: "فلينأ عنه" أي: فليبتعد عنه ولا يقربه.
Note / Clarification: The words "fal-yan'a 'anhu" mean: let him keep far away from him and not go near him.
(3) زيادة لا بدَّ منها ليستقيم الكلام، وقد دلَّ على صحة وجودها الإسناد التالي الذي ساقه المصنف ليبيّن أنَّ غير يحيى بن سعيد أسقط من إسناد الحديث أبا الدهماء، وهذا خطأ في رواية المصنف كما سيأتي.
Note / Clarification: This addition is necessary for the text to read correctly. That it is truly there is indicated by the next chain which the author (al-Hakim) brings, to show that people other than Yahya bin Sa'id dropped "Abu al-Dahma'" from the chain; and this is an error in the author's narration, as will come.
