(3). It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: The Hour will not be established until Allah Almighty sends a wind which will not leave anyone in whose heart there is even an atom's weight of piety or understanding except that it will take his soul. Then every people will join what their forefathers used to worship in the Jahiliyyah, and only the rabble and base among people will remain, who will neither enjoin good nor forbid evil. They will copulate in the streets as animals do. When that happens, the wrath of Allah upon the people of the earth will become severe, and He will establish the Hour.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: In manuscripts (K) and (M) the narrator's name is written "Umar" (without the waw), which is wrong, whereas in manuscript (B) the name is recorded correctly (Amr).
Grading: The chain of this hadith is "hasan", because of the presence of "Imran al-Qattan" (who is Ibn Dawar) and "Abd al-Rahman bin Adam". Technical note / Defect ('illah): Here Hisham bin Ali is "Hisham bin Ali al-Sirafi". Details of the narration: This narration will come later with the author (al-Hakim) in abridged wording under number (8880), narrated via "Amr bin Marzuq" from "Imran al-Qattan". (8867). Technical note / Defect ('illah): We did not find this narration with this chain (route) with anyone other than the author; however, its meaning is narrated from Abd Allah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) through other chains. Reference / Source: For details see what has passed under number (8545) and what will come under numbers (8615), (8616), (8846) and (8867). Details of the narration: The last part of this hadith (about open coupling in the roads) is narrated from Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunayf, who reported it from Abd Allah bin Amr, who reported it from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as marfu': "The Hour will not be established until you copulate in the roads as donkeys copulate." Reference / Source: It was narrated by Ibn Hibban (6767), and its chain is "sahih". (8718). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: This meaning is supported by the marfu' hadith of al-Nawwas bin Sam'an (may Allah be pleased with him), which will come with the author under number (8718). (8586). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The opening part of this hadith is also supported (besides the previous hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)) by the hadith of A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), which has passed under number (8586).
