It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: I was in the Hatim with Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him). He narrated a hadith and then said: "The bonds of Islam will be broken one by one, misguiding leaders (rulers) will appear, and after that the three Dajjals will emerge." I asked: O Abu Abdullah! Have you heard all of this that you are saying from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He replied: Yes, I heard it, and I also heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The Dajjal will emerge from the Jewish quarter of Isfahan. His right eye will be blotted out (sightless), and the other eye will be like a shining star that seems to split the light of the sun. He will catch birds from the sky. He will give three cries which the people of the east and the people of the west (all) will hear. With him will be two mountains: one mountain of smoke and fire, and the other a mountain of trees and rivers. He will say (to deceive): This is Paradise and this is Hell." And I heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Before him (the Dajjal), a great liar (kadhdhab) will emerge." I asked: Then who is the third? He said: "He is the greatest liar of the liars. He will emerge from the direction of the east, and the refuse of the Arabs (base people) and the lowest classes of the non-Arabs will follow him. The first of them will be victorious (outwardly triumphant) and the last of them will be destroyed. Their destruction will be in proportion to the strength of their rule. May the everlasting curse of Allah be upon them." I said: This is a most astonishing thing! He said: "There will be things even more astonishing than this. So when you hear of it (this tribulation), then flee, flee!" I said: What shall I do for those I leave behind? He said: "Order them to join the tops of the mountains (and take refuge there)." I asked: What if they are not allowed to do that? He said: "Order them to become like the mats (ahlas) of their houses (that is, to confine themselves to their homes)." I said: What if that too is not allowed? He said: "O Ibn Umar! It will be a time filled with fear, killing and plunder." I said: O Abu Abdullah! Will there be any way of relief from this killing? He said: "Why not? After every killing there comes relief, but where will those who survive be at that time? It will be a tribulation called 'al-Hariqah' (the consuming fire). It will engulf the pure Arabs, the pure non-Arabs, the owners of treasures and all the rest of the people, then that tribulation will end in such a state that very few people will remain."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Hadith Takhrij«
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: In "Talkhis al-Dhahabi" this word is "al-jarifah".
Grading: Its chain is extremely weak, and al-Dhahabi declared it munkar (objectionable) in his "Talkhis". Technical note / Defect ('illah): In it is 'Abd al-A'la bin 'Amir, who is al-Tha'labi, whom the majority consider weak; and Muhammad bin Sinan al-Qazzaz has been criticised, and Abu Dawud and Ibn Khirash were severe about him and accused him of lying. And we have not found this hadith with this chain and in this wording with anyone other than the author (al-Hakim). (2934) (105). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: See the hadith of Rib'i bin Hirash from Hudhayfah on the description of the Dajjal in Musnad Ahmad (38/23279) and Sahih Muslim (2934/105). (8654). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: On the ties of Islam being undone one by one, see the previous hadith of 'Abd al-'Aziz, the nephew of Hudhayfah, from Hudhayfah, no. (8654). Note / Clarification: "khusharat al-'Arab": i.e. the worst (most worthless) of them. "Khusharah" is the worthless (leftover, useless) part of anything.
