Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 8670

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "How will you be when the right is asked of you and you give it, but when you ask for your own right you are denied it?" They said: We will be patient. He said: "(If you do so) you have entered it (Paradise)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Hadith Grading
Hadith Takhrij «
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This report is "hasan". Although Muhammad bin Ibrahim (who is Ibn Awramah) is not known, he is not alone in narrating it.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: For it was narrated by Ma'mar in "al-Jami'" (20712), and by Abu al-Ahwas Sallam al-Hanafi in Ibn Abi Shaybah (15/25), both of them from Abu Ishaq ('Amr bin 'Abdullah al-Sabi'i) with this same chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): And Zayd bin Yuthay' (even though Abu Ishaq is alone in narrating from him) is, if Allah wills, "hasan al-hadith".
Note / Clarification: "دخلتموها" (you entered it) refers to Paradise.
