Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) (who is the brother of Ziyad through his mother) narrates that the people began saying many things about the matter of Musaylimah the Liar before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had said anything. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and praised Allah Almighty as befits His majesty, then said: "To proceed: as for the matter of this man, you have said a great deal about him. He is indeed one liar among thirty liars who will appear before the Dajjal. And there will be no city into which the terror of the Messiah (the Dajjal) does not enter, except Madinah, for on that day there will be two angels at each of its routes, repelling the terror of the Messiah from it."
Imam Muslim used Talhah bin Abdullah bin Awf as evidence. Ma'mar and Shu'ayb bin Abi Hamzah narrated this chain from al-Zuhri in a mu'dal form (with narrators dropped), because Talhah bin Abdullah did not hear it from Abu Bakrah; rather, he heard it from Iyad bin Musafi', who heard it from Abu Bakrah. Yunus bin Yazid and Uqayl bin Khalid narrated it from al-Zuhri in this way. As for the hadith of Yunus (it is coming next):

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih li-ghayrihi" (authentic through supporting evidence). These two chains, although their narrators are thiqah (trustworthy), are "munqati'" (broken), as the author (al-Hakim) will explain. Technical note / Defect ('illah): (Narrators): Abu al-Yaman is "al-Hakam bin Nafi'", and Shu'ayb is "Ibn Abi Hamzah". Reference / Source: Al-Tabarani narrated it in "Musnad al-Shamiyyin" (3216) by way of Abu Zur'ah al-Dimashqi from Abu al-Yaman, with this same chain. (20823). Reference / Source: As for Ma'mar's narration, it is in his "al-Jami'" under no. (20823). Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it in (34/20428) from 'Abd al-Razzaq in the same way. Reference / Source: And he (Imam Ahmad) also narrated it in (20476) by way of 'Abd al-A'la bin 'Abd al-A'la from Ma'mar. See also the narration after it.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): This is an oversight of the author (al-Hakim) (may Allah have mercy on him), because the one who used Talhah as proof (of the two Sahihs) is actually al-Bukhari, not Muslim.
