إِذَا بَلَغَتْ بَنُو أُمَيَّةَ أَرْبَعِينَ ، اتَّخَذُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ خَوَلًا
When Banu Umayyah reach forty, they will take the servants of Allah as slaves
Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 8690

حدَّثَناهُ أبو بكر بن بالويه حدثنا موسى بن هارون، حدثنا محمد بن حُمَيد، حدثنا جرير، عن الأعمش، عن عطيَّة، عن أبي سعيد قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ "إذا بَلَغَ بنو أبي العاص ثلاثين رجلًا، اتَّخَذوا مالَ الله دُوَلًا، ودينَ الله دَغَلًا، وعباد الله خَوَلًا" (2). ومنها:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Banu Abi al-As reach thirty in number, they will make the wealth of Allah something circulated (among themselves), the religion of Allah a means of deception, and the servants of Allah their slaves."

(2) إسناده ضعيف لضعف عطية العوفي كسابقه، ومحمد بن حميد - وهو أبو عبد الله الرازي - ضعيف إلا أنه متابع.
Grading: Its chain is weak, like the previous chain, because of the weakness of 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Also, Muhammad bin Humayd (Abu 'Abdullah al-Razi) in it is weak, but he is corroborated.
فقد أخرجه أحمد 18 (11758) عن عثمان بن أبي شيبة، عن جرير - وهو ابن عبد الحميد - بهذا الإسناد.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: For Imam Ahmad narrated it (18/11758) from 'Uthman bin Abi Shaybah, from Jarir (Ibn 'Abd al-Hamid), with this same chain.
