يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ رِيحًا طَيِّبًا ، فَيُتَوَفَّى مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِنْ خَيْرٍ

أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الزاهد، حدثنا إسماعيل بن إسحاق القاضي، حدثنا سليمان بن حرب، حدثنا رَيْحان بن سعيد، حدثنا عباد بن منصور، عن أيوب، عن أبي قلابة، حدثني أبو أسماء، عن ثَوْبان، أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول: "لن تقوم الساعة على أمتي حتى تَلحَقَ قبائل منها بالمشركين، وحتى تَعبُدَ قبائل منها الأوثان" (3).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The Hour will not be established upon my Ummah until some of its tribes join the polytheists, and until tribes of my Ummah worship idols."

(3) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لضعف عباد بن منصور، وريحان بن سعيد حسن الحديث في المتابعات والشواهد. أيوب: هو ابن أبي تميمة السختياني، وأبو قلابة: هو عبد الله بن زيد الجرمي، وأبو أسماء: هو عمرو بن مَرثَد الرَّحَبي.
Grading: The hadith is sahih.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): This chain is weak because of the weakness of Abbad bin Mansur, while Rayhan bin Sa'id is hasan al-hadith in corroborations and supporting reports. Ayyub is "Ibn Abi Tamimah al-Sakhtiyani", Abu Qilabah is "Abd Allah bin Zayd al-Jarmi", and Abu Asma' is "Amr bin Marthad al-Rahabi".
وأخرجه ضمن حديث: أحمد 37/ (22395) و (22452)، وأبو داود (4252)، والترمذي (2219)، وابن حبان (7238) من طريق حماد بن زيد، عن أيوب، بهذا الإسناد. والإسناد صحيح، وقال الترمذي: حديث صحيح.
Reference / Source: It was narrated within a hadith by Ahmad 37/ (22395) and (22452), Abu Dawud (4252), al-Tirmidhi (2219) and Ibn Hibban (7238) via Hammad bin Zayd, from Ayyub, with this same chain.
Grading: This chain is sahih, and al-Tirmidhi said: The hadith is sahih.
وأخرجه ابن ماجه (3952)، وابن حبان (6714) من طريق قتادة، عن أبي قلابة به.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Ibn Majah (3952) and Ibn Hibban (6714) via Qatadah, from Abu Qilabah, in the same way.
وسيأتي ضمن حديث طويل برقم (8595) من طريق يحيى بن أبي كثير عن أبي قلابة.
Note / Clarification: It will come later within a long hadith under number (8595) via Yahya bin Abi Kathir from Abu Qilabah.
