When they make fornication lawful and drink wine, Allah becomes jealous in His heaven

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): I came to the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and a man was with her. The man said: O Mother of the Believers, tell us something about the earthquake. She turned her face away from him. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said: O Mother of the Believers, tell us about the earthquake. She said: O Anas, if I tell you about it, you will remain grieved (all your life), and when you are raised (on the Day of Resurrection), that same grief will be in your heart. I said: O my mother, tell us. She said: "Indeed, when a woman takes off her clothes anywhere other than her husband's house, she tears apart the veil that exists between her and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. And if she perfumes herself for anyone other than her husband, it will be a fire and a disgrace for her. So when, after this (immorality), people regard fornication as lawful, drink wines and play musical instruments, Allah Almighty will feel jealous in His heaven and will command (the earth) to quake with them. Then if they repent and desist (from these sins), well and good; otherwise it will be brought down upon them." Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: Will it be a punishment for them? She said: "(No, rather) it is mercy, blessing and admonition for the believers, while for the disbelievers it is an exemplary punishment, wrath and torment." Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: After the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I have not heard any hadith that brought me more joy than this hadith; rather, I (now) live in a state of joy, and when I am raised, that joy will be in my heart - or he said: in my soul.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I asked my Lord for three things; He granted me two and withheld one from me. I asked my Lord not to destroy my Ummah through famine, and He granted me that. I asked Him not to set over them an enemy from other than themselves (an alien people) (who would wipe them out), and He granted me that too. And I asked Him not to divide them into factions nor make them taste the fighting of one another, and He withheld that from me."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We have seen everything that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) told us about, except that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection it will be said to some men: Throw down your whips and enter Hell."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
