أخبرنا أبو عبد الله الصَّفّار، حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن أُورمة، حدثنا الحسين بن حفص، عن سفيان، عن جَبَلة بن سُحَيم، عن عامر بن مَطَر قال: سمعت حذيفة يقول: كيف أنتم إذا انفرجتُم عن دينكم انفراج المرأة عن قُبُلها؟ (1)

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "What will be your state when you separate from your religion just as a woman opens at her private part when giving birth?"

(1) حسن محمد بن إبراهيم بن أورمة - وإن كان مجهولًا - لم ينفرد به، ومن فوقه لا بأس بهم في الجملة، وعامر بن مطر روى عنه غير واحد وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات"، وقد توبع في الذي بعده. سفيان: هو الثوري.
Grading: This hadith is "hasan". Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Awramah, although "majhul" (unknown), is not alone in this narration, and the narrators above him are fine on the whole. More than one narrator narrated from 'Amir bin Matar and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in "al-Thiqat"; moreover, there is a corroboration (mutaba'ah) for him in the next narration.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Sufyan is "Sufyan al-Thawri".
وأخرجه ابن أبي شيبة 15/ 119 عن معاوية بن هشام، عن سفيان الثوري، بهذا الإسناد. ومعاوية صدوق حسن الحديث.
Reference / Source: Ibn Abi Shaybah (15/ 119) narrated it via Mu'awiyah bin Hisham from Sufyan al-Thawri with this same chain. Mu'awiyah bin Hisham is "saduq" (truthful) and hasan in hadith.
وأخرجه نعيم بن حماد في "الفتن" (55) و (363) و (387) عن يحيى بن عبد الملك بن أبي غنيّة، عن أبيه، عن جبلة، به.
Reference / Source: Nu'aym bin Hammad also narrated it in "al-Fitan" (55, 363 and 387) via Yahya bin 'Abd al-Malik bin Abi Ghaniyyah, from his father, from Jabalah.
