It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the last period of this Ummah there will be men who will ride on large saddles (soft cushions) until they come to the doors of their mosques. Their women will be clothed yet naked; their heads will be like the humps of Bactrian camels. Curse them, for they are accursed. If there were another nation after you, these women would serve them just as the women of the nations before you served you." I asked my father: What are al-mayathir? He said: It means large saddles.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits

Note / Clarification: In the handwritten manuscripts it is "لخدمهم" (without the second nun), whereas the phrase is not sound (in meaning) unless the nun is retained.
Grading: Its chain is weak because "Abdullah bin Ayyash al-Qitbani" is alone in it. Technical note / Defect ('illah): This narrator is not solid, as Abu Hatim al-Razi said; then he said: "He is saduq, his hadith is written down, and he is close to Ibn Lahi'ah" (i.e. he is of use in corroborating chains and supporting reports). But Abu Dawud and al-Nasa'i declared him weak, and Ibn Yunus called him "munkar al-hadith". Ibn Hibban mentioned him in "al-Thiqat", and Muslim narrated only one hadith from him, as a corroboration. Al-Dhahabi, in "al-Talkhis", pointed to his weakness while critiquing al-Hakim's grading of it as sahih. Reference / Source: Ahmad (11/7083) and Ibn Hibban (5753) recorded it by way of Abdullah bin Yazid al-Muqri', from Abdullah bin Ayyash, with this same chain, and in the chain they paired "Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli" with Isa bin Hilal.
