When the scale is cheated, the rain is withheld

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that when there is cheating in measure and weight, the rain will be withheld; when fornication becomes widespread, killing will increase and the plague will break out; and when lying becomes abundant, al-harj (chaos and killing) will increase.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

Amr bin Shu'ayb narrates from his father, and he from his grandfather Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah there will be a struggle between the tribes, and in that year the pilgrims will be plundered. Then there will be a great battle at Mina in which the slain will be many and blood will be shed, until their blood flows as far as Jamrat al-Aqabah; and until their leader (the Mahdi) flees. Then he will be brought between the Corner and the Station of Ibrahim, and allegiance will be pledged to him while he is unwilling. It will be said to him: If you refuse, we will strike off your neck. Those pledging allegiance to him will be equal in number to the people of Badr, and the dwellers of the heaven and the dwellers of the earth will be pleased with them."
