It is narrated from Sayyiduna Kurz bin Alqamah al-Khuza'i (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin asked: O Messenger of Allah! Is there an end point for Islam? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes. Any household of the Arabs or non-Arabs for whom Allah intends good, He brings Islam into them." The Companions asked: Then what will happen, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then tribulations will break out as though they were the shadows of dark clouds." That Bedouin said (in astonishment): Never, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul! In those tribulations you will become like black serpents that raise their heads to strike, pouncing on one another, and some of you will strike the necks of others."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is sahih. Identification of the narrator: Ishaq bin Ibrahim is Ibn Abbad al-Dabari. Takhrij: It was narrated by Ahmad 25/ (15918) from Abd al-Razzaq with this same chain. Takhrij: It was narrated by Ahmad (15919) and Ibn Hibban (5956) via Abd al-Wahid bin Qays, from Urwah, and at its end he added: "The best of people on that day will be a believer secluded in one of the mountain passes, who fears his Lord and keeps people safe from his evil." (97). Reference: This hadith has passed in abridged form under numbers (96) and (97). Linguistic note: "Asawid subban" means large snakes which, when they intend to bite or sting, raise their chests and then fall upon (pounce on) the one being bitten; it is used by way of comparison.
Variation among the manuscripts: Manuscript (B) adds "bi-hadhihi al-siyaqah" (with this wording), which is not in manuscripts (K) and (M).
