أخبرنا أبو عثمان بن أحمد بن السَّماك الزاهد ببغداد، حدثنا حَنبَل بن إسحاق بن حنبل، حدثنا موسى بن إسماعيل، حدثنا حمَّاد بن سَلَمة، عن حُمَيد، عن أنس، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "الأَمَارَاتُ خَرَزاتٌ منظوماتٌ بسِلْك، فإذا انقَطَع السِّلكُ تَبعَ بعضَه" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The signs (of the Hour) are like beads strung on a thread; when the thread breaks, they will begin to appear (rapidly) one after another."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(3) إسناده صحيح. وهو من أفراد المصنف لم نقف عليه مخرَّجًا من حديث أنس عند غيره. ويشهد له حديث عبد الله بن عمرو السالف برقم (8669).
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Important point: It is among the narrations found only with the author; we have not found this hadith of Anas recorded with anyone other than the author. However, the earlier hadith of 'Abd Allah bin 'Amr, no. (8669), supports it.
