قَوْلُ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِنَّ فَسَادَ أُمَّتِي عَلَى يَدَيْ غِلْمَةٍ سُفَهَاءَ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

قال عبد الله: وأخبرني مالكُ بن مغول، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر: أنه قال لرجل يسألُه عن القتال مع الحَجَّاج أو مع ابن الزُّبير، فقال له ابن عمر: مع أيِّ الفريقين قاتلتَ فقُتِلتَ، ففى لَظَى (2).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said to a man who was asking him about fighting alongside al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf or Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him): "Whichever of the two groups you fight alongside and get killed, your abode will be in the blazing Fire (laza, Hell)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

وأخرجه نعيم بن حماد في "الفتن" (425) قال: سمعت من يذكر عن مالك بن مغول، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر.
Reference / Source: Nu'aym bin Hammad narrated it in "al-Fitan" (425); he said: I heard someone mentioning it from Malik bin Mighwal, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar.
