1 أَعْتَى النَّاسِ عَلَى اللهِ مَنْ قَتَلَ غَيْرَ قَاتِلِهِ

The most insolent of people towards Allah is one who kills someone other than his killer

2 لَا يَحِلُّ دَمُ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ إِلَّا بِإِحْدَى ثَلَاثٍ

The blood of a Muslim is not lawful except for one of three reasons

Whoever kills a man after giving him assurance, a banner of treachery will be raised for him on the Day of Resurrection

8 حِكَايَةُ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِرَجُلٍ كَانَتْ تَشْتُمُ النَّبِيَّ فَقَتَلَهَا مَوْلَاهُ

The story of a man's umm walad who used to revile the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so her master killed her

9 يُقْتَلُ مَنْ شَتَمَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Whoever reviles the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is to be killed

10 مَنْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ يَأْتِي بَهِيمَةً فَاقْتُلُوهُ

Whoever you find committing bestiality, kill him

43 أَوَّلُ سَارِقٍ قَطَعَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ 8216 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ، ثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى الْجَابِرَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَاجِدَةَ ، يَقُولُ : كُنْتُ قَاعِدًا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي لَأَذْكُرُ أَوَّلَ رَجُلٍ قَطَعَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أُتِيَ بِسَارِقٍ فَأَمَرَ بِقَطْعِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا أَسِفَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَأَنَّكَ كَرِهْتَ قَطْعَهُ ، قَالَ : " وَمَا يَمْنَعُنِي ، لَا تَكُونُوا أَعْوَانًا لِلشَّيْطَانِ عَلَى أَخِيكُمْ إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلْإِمَامِ إِذَا انْتَهَى إِلَيْهِ حَدٌّ إِلَّا أَنْ يُقِيمَهُ ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَفُوٌّ يُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ " هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ .

Pardon one another in matters of prescribed punishments

A man does not love a people except that he will be with them

49 أَفْضَلُ آيَةٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ 8226 - أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَقِيهُ بِالرَّيِّ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ، ثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا فِي الدُّنْيَا فَسَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَفَا عَنْهُ فَاللَّهُ أَكْرَمُ مِنْ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فِي شَيْءٍ قَدْ عَفَا عَنْهُ وَسَتَرَهُ ، وَمَنْ أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا فِي الدُّنْيَا فَعُوقِبَ عَلَيْهِ فَاللَّهُ أَعْدَلُ مِنْ أَنْ يُثَنِّيَ عُقُوبَتَهُ عَلَى عَبْدٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ "

The most excellent verse in the Book of Allah: "Whatever misfortune befalls you"
