حدَّثَناه أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الحَكَم، أخبرنا ابن وهب، أخبرنا يونس بن يزيد، عن الزُّهْري، عن مسلم بن يزيد، عن أبي شُريح الكَعْبي، عن رسول الله ﷺ (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Shurayh al-Ka'bi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said the same. (This is the other chain narrated by Yunus bin Yazid from al-Zuhri.)

(1) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف من أجل مسلم بن يزيد فقد انفرد بالرواية عنه الزهري، ولم يؤثر توثيقه عن غير ابن حبان، فهو مجهول. ابن وهب: هو عبد الله.
Grading: Sahih li-ghayrihi.
Technical note: This chain is weak because of Muslim bin Yazid, since al-Zuhri alone narrates from him, and no declaration of his reliability is transmitted from anyone other than Ibn Hibban; therefore he is "majhul" (unknown). Ibn Wahb (mentioned in the chain) is "Abd Allah bin Wahb".
وأخرجه أحمد (26/ 16376) من طريق جرير بن حازم، عن يونس بن يزيد بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (26/16376) narrated it via Jarir bin Hazim, from Yunus bin Yazid, with this same chain.
