It is narrated from Atiyyah, a man from Banu Qurayzah, that the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) examined him on the day (of the judgment) of Banu Qurayzah and saw that his pubic hair had not yet grown, so they spared him from being killed.
This hadith is gharib (unusual) and sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it; it is known through the narration of Abd al-Malik bin Umayr from Atiyyah al-Qurazi.
Grading: (3) Its chain is sahih. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Ibn Wahb is "Abd Allah", Ibn Jurayj is "Abd al-Malik bin Abd al-Aziz", and Ibn Abi Najih is "Abd Allah".
Important point: It has already passed under no. (2601); see the next narration.
