Whoever's intercession prevents a prescribed punishment has opposed Allah in His command

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever's intercession stands in the way of one of the prescribed punishments of Allah has opposed Allah Almighty in His command."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that, after stoning that man from the tribe of Aslam, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed (the people) and said: "Avoid these filthy deeds which Allah has forbidden. Whoever falls into any such sin should conceal himself with the veil of Allah and repent to Allah, for whoever reveals his condition to us, we will carry out upon him (the prescribed punishment of) the Book of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever covers (the faults of) his Muslim brother in this world, Allah Almighty will cover him in this world and the Hereafter; and whoever relieves his brother of a worldly hardship, Allah Almighty will relieve him of one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection; and Allah remains in the aid of the servant as long as the servant is engaged in the aid of his brother."
This chain (isnad) is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever a servant covers (the faults of) another servant in this world, Allah Almighty will cover him on the Day of Resurrection."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it. And this hadith strengthens the narration of al-A'mash from Abu Salih and the narration of Muhammad bin Wasi', because Asbat bin Muhammad al-Qurashi narrated it from al-A'mash through some of his companions, while Hammad bin Zayd narrated it from Muhammad bin Wasi' through a man, from Abu Salih.
