The story of the stoning of a woman from Ghamid

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman from the tribe of Ghamid came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have committed fornication. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go back." She went away, then came back and said: Perhaps you want to put me off just as you put off Ma'iz bin Malik. By Allah, I am pregnant. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go until you give birth." Then she brought the child wrapped in a cloth and said: I have given birth to him; now purify me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go until you wean him." So she came (after the period), and there was a piece of bread in the child's hand, and she said: I have weaned him. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that she be stoned.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have committed adultery, so establish the prescribed punishment (hadd) upon me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and give birth to what is in your womb." When she had given birth to the child, she came again and said: I have committed adultery, so establish the prescribed punishment upon me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go until you wean your child." When she had weaned him, she came again and said: O Messenger of Allah, I have committed adultery, so establish the prescribed punishment upon me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring someone who will take care of your child." So a man stood up and said: I will take care of her child. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had her stoned.
This hadith is sahih on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Ya'qub bin Zayd bin Talhah al-Taymi narrates from his father that a woman came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said that she was pregnant and had committed adultery. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Go until you give birth (to the child)." She went away, and when the child was born, she came again. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and suckle him." When she had suckled him, she came again. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go until you entrust him to someone (until a guardian is found)." When she had entrusted him to someone and came again, he (peace and blessings be upon him) established the prescribed punishment (hadd) upon her.
This hadith is sahih on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), provided that Zayd bin Talhah al-Taymi met the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), because in the hadiths of the people of Madinah, the word of Imam Malik bin Anas is final.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I have never seen anyone with a surer aim than Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him). A woman from the tribe of Hamdan called Shurahah was brought to him. He gave her a hundred lashes, then ordered that she be stoned. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) took a brick and threw it at her, and it struck her right at the root of her ear, and she fell. Then the people stoned her until she died. Then he said: "I flogged her according to the Book of Allah and stoned her according to the Sunnah."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is reported from Imam al-Sha'bi that he was asked: Did you see the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)? He said: I saw him; the hair of his head and beard was white. It was asked: Do you remember anything from him? He said: Yes, I remember that he flogged Shurahah on Thursday and stoned her on Friday, and he said: "I flogged her according to the command of the Book of Allah and stoned her according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)."
This chain is sahih (authentic), although in the first chain there is a disagreement about whether Abd al-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Mas'ud heard from his father.
