أخبرَناه أبو الحسن محمد بن عبد الله السُّنّي بمَرْو، أخبرنا أبو المُوجِّه، أخبرنا عَبْدان، أخبرنا أبو حمزة، حدثنا إبراهيم الصائغ، عن أبي الزُّبير عن جابر: أنَّ امرأةً أتتِ النبيَّ ﷺ فقالت: إني قد زنيتُ، فأقِمْ فيَّ الحدَّ، فقال: "انطلقِي فضَعِي ما في بَطْنِك"، فلما وضعت ما في بطنها أتَتْه فقالت: إنِّي زنيتُ، فأَقِمْ فيَّ الحدَّ، فقال: "انطَلِقي حتى تَفطِمي ولدَكِ"، فلما فطمت ولدَها جاءت فقالت: يا رسولَ الله، إني زنيتُ، فأقِمْ فيَّ الحدَّ، فقال: "هاتي مَن يَكفُلُ ولدَكِ" فقام رجلٌ فقال: أنا أكفُلُ ولدها، فرَجَمَها رسولُ الله ﷺ (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. وقد روى مالك بن أنس في "الموطّأ" حديث المرجومة بإسنادٍ أَخشى عليه الإرسالَ:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have committed adultery, so establish the prescribed punishment (hadd) upon me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and give birth to what is in your womb." When she had given birth to the child, she came again and said: I have committed adultery, so establish the prescribed punishment upon me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go until you wean your child." When she had weaned him, she came again and said: O Messenger of Allah, I have committed adultery, so establish the prescribed punishment upon me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring someone who will take care of your child." So a man stood up and said: I will take care of her child. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had her stoned.
This hadith is sahih on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد رجاله ثقات غير محمد بن عبد الله السني، فقد تُكلم في عدالته، لكنه متابع. أبو الموجّه: هو محمد بن عمرو الفزاري وعبدان هو عبد الله بن عثمان بن جَبَلة، وأبو حمزة: هو محمد بن ميمون المروزي.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih li-ghayrihi" (sahih due to supporting evidence), and the narrators of this chain are trustworthy (thiqah) except Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Sunni, whose probity ('adalah) has been criticised, but he is corroborated. Identification of narrators: Abu al-Muwajjih is Muhammad bin Amr al-Fazari, Abdan is Abdullah bin Uthman bin Jabalah, and Abu Hamzah is Muhammad bin Maymun al-Marwazi.
وأخرجه النسائي (7149)، والدارقطني (3228)، وأبو طاهر المخلص في "المخلصيات" (668) من طريق علي بن الحسن بن شقيق، عن أبي حمزة السكري، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Nasa'i (7149), al-Daraqutni (3228) and Abu Tahir al-Mukhallis in "al-Mukhallisiyyat" (668) narrated it through the route of Ali bin al-Hasan bin Shaqiq, from Abu Hamzah al-Sukkari, with this same chain.
