It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the time of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) there was a woman who was a prostitute. A man passed by her, reached out his hand towards her and flirted with her. The woman said: "Stop! Allah Almighty has done away with polytheism and brought Islam." So the man left her, turned his back and walked away, but he kept turning to look at her until (because his attention was diverted) his face struck a wall. The narrator said: The man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned the incident to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are a servant for whom Allah has willed good. Indeed, when Allah wills good for a servant, He hastens the punishment of his sin for him in this very world; and when He wills evil for a servant, He withholds the punishment of his sin (in this world) until he is given his full recompense for it on the Day of Resurrection, as though he were a burden-bearing donkey."
This hadith is sahih al-isnad (its chain is authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

It is narrated from Abu Shahm (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I was in Madinah when a slave-girl passed by me, and I seized her by her waist. Then I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was taking the pledge of allegiance from the people. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Are you not the one who seized her yesterday?" I said: O Messenger of Allah, I will not do it again. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted my pledge of allegiance.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.
