حدَّثَناه أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا الرَّبيع بن سليمان، حدثنا شعيب بن الليث بن سعد، حدثنا الليث، عن يزيد بن أبي حَبيب، عن سعد بن سِنان، عن أنس بن مالك، عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال: "تَقبَّلوا لي بستٍّ أتقبل لكم الجنَّةَ" قالوا: وما هي؟ قال: "إذا حدَّث أحدُكم فلا يَكذِبْ، وإذا وَعَدَ فلا يُخلِفْ، وإذا اؤْتُمِنَ فلا يَخُنْ، وغُضُّوا أبصاركم، وكُفُّوا أيديكم واحفَظُوا فُروجَكم" (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Guarantee me six things of yours, and I will guarantee you Paradise." The Companions asked: What are they? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you speaks, let him not lie; when he makes a promise, let him not break it; when something is entrusted to him, let him not betray it; and lower your gaze, restrain your hands (from wrongdoing), and guard your private parts."

Grading: (1) This chain is "hasan" in corroborations and supporting reports on account of Sa'd bin Sinan.
وأخرجه تامًّا ومختصرًا ابن أبي شيبة وأحمد بن منيع كما في "المطالب العالية" (2633)، وابن أبي الدنيا في "الصمت" (501)، وأبو يعلى (4257)، والخرائطي في "مكارم الأخلاق" (170) و (181) و (432)، وفي "مساوئ الأخلاق" (142) و (152)، وابن عدي في "الكامل" 3/ 355، وأبو القاسم بن بشران في "الأمالي" (261)، والبيهقي في "شعب الإيمان" (4046) من طرق عن الليث بن سعد، بهذا الإسناد.
