1 بَابُ مِمَّا يُخَافُ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ .

Sins that are to be feared

4 hadith (17455 — 17458)

2 بَابٌ فِيمَا يُحْتَقَرُ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ .

Sins that are taken lightly

10 hadith (17459 — 17468)

3 بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يُصِرُّ عَلَى الذَّنْبِ .

One who persists in sin

4 بَابٌ فِيمَنْ عُوقِبَ بِذَنْبِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا .

One who is punished for his sin in this world

5 بَابُ "الْحُزْنُ كَفَّارَةٌ " .

Grief is an expiation

6 بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَسْتُرُهُ اللَّهُ - تَعَالَى - فَيَفْضَحُ نَفْسَهُ .

One whom Allah the Exalted conceals and who then exposes himself

7 بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَسْتُرُهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فِي الدُّنْيَا .

One whom Allah the Exalted conceals in this world

8 بَابُ مَنْ لَمْ يَتُبْ لَمْ يُتَبْ عَلَيْهِ ، وَمَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَغْفِرْ لَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ .

Whoever does not repent is not forgiven, whoever does not show mercy is not shown mercy, and whoever does not forgive is not forgiven

9 بَابٌ اسْمَحْ يُسْمَحْ لَكَ .

Be lenient and leniency will be shown to you

16 بَابٌ مَفْتُوحٌ لِلتَّوْبَةِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ نَحْوِهِ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ جَيِّدٌ .

Until when the servant's repentance is accepted

One who repents from sin is like one who has no sin

21 بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَكُفُّ عَنِ الذُّنُوبِ .

One who refrains from sins

22 بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِيمَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُ وَيَتُوبُ كُلَّمَا أَذْنَبَ .

One who seeks forgiveness and repents every time he sins

23 بَابُ الْمُؤْمِنِ نَسَّاءٌ إِذَا ذُكِّرَ ذَكَرَ .

The believer is forgetful, but when reminded he remembers

24 بَابُ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَسْهُو ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ .

The believer errs and then returns

25 بَابُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَاهٍ رَاقِعٌ .

The believer tears and mends

26 بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَعْمَلُ الْحَسَنَاتِ بَعْدَ السَّيِّئَاتِ .

One who does good deeds after bad deeds

27 بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَلْتَمِسُ رِضَا اللَّهِ تَعَالَى .

One who seeks the pleasure of Allah the Exalted

28 بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي طُولِ عُمُرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ ، وَالنَّهْيِ عَنْ تَمَنِّيهِ الْمَوْتَ .

Long life for the believer, and the prohibition of wishing for death

29 بَابٌ فِيمَنْ طَالَ عُمْرُهُ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ .

Muslims who live long lives

30 بَابٌ فِي أَعْمَارِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ .

The lifespans of this Ummah
