وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ نَسْتَغْفِرَ بِالْأَسْحَارِ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to seek forgiveness seventy times at the time of suhur (before dawn)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, al-Hasan bin Abi Ja'far, who is matruk (abandoned).
