Book of Repentance
بَابُ مَنْ لَمْ يَتُبْ لَمْ يُتَبْ عَلَيْهِ ، وَمَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَغْفِرْ لَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ .
Whoever does not repent is not forgiven, whoever does not show mercy is not shown mercy, and whoever does not forgive is not forgiven

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، وَأَحَدُهُمَا حَسَنٌ ، وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ . قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ أَحَادِيثُ صَحِيحَةٌ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ ، فِي الْبِرِّ وَالصِّلَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، وَأَحَدُهُمَا حَسَنٌ ، وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ . قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ أَحَادِيثُ صَحِيحَةٌ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ ، فِي الْبِرِّ وَالصِّلَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not show mercy is not shown mercy."
Al-Tabarani recorded it with two chains, and one of them is hasan (good).
Al-Bazzar recorded it.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Some sahih hadiths on this subject have already passed in the Book of Righteousness and Maintaining Family Ties, in the chapter on mercy.
