Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with blood streaming down his face. He said: O Messenger of Allah, I had fixed my gaze on a woman, and meanwhile a wall struck me and what you see happened to me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, when Allah Almighty intends good for one of His servants, He hastens the punishment of his sin for him in this world, and when He intends evil for a servant, He holds back his sin for him until He repays him in full on the Day of Resurrection, and it (the sin) will be like the mountain 'Ayr."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Muhammad bin Ubaydullah al-Arzami, who is da'if (weak).
