وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الصَّامِتِ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " قَسَّمَ رَبُّنَا رَحْمَتَهُ مِائَةَ جُزْءٍ ، فَأَنْزَلَ مِنْهَا جُزْءًا فِي الْأَرْضِ ، فَهُوَ الَّذِي يَتَرَاحَمُ بِهِ النَّاسُ ، وَالطَّيْرُ ، وَالْبَهَائِمُ ، وَبَقِيَتْ عِنْدَهُ مِائَةُ رَحْمَةٍ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً لِعِبَادِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يَحْيَى لَمْ يُدْرِكْ عُبَادَةَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ غَيْرُ إِسْحَاقَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Our Lord has made mercy into 100 parts. He sent down one part of them to the earth, and it is because of this one part that people, birds and animals show mercy to one another. The remaining 99 parts of mercy are with the Lord, and they will be for His servants on the Day of Resurrection."
At-Tabarani recorded it. The narrator named Ishaq bin Yahya did not reach the time of Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him); apart from Ishaq, the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
