وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ - جَلَّ وَعَزَّ - خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ ، رَحْمَةٌ مِنْهَا قَسَمَهَا بَيْنَ الْخَلَائِقِ ، وَتِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty made mercy in 100 parts. One part of them He distributed among the creation, and ninety-nine parts are for the Day of Resurrection."
