وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حَيْدَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ - جَلَّ وَعَزَّ - خَلَقَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ ، فَرَحْمَةٌ بَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ يَتَرَاحَمُونَ بِهَا ، وَادَّخَرَ لِأَوْلِيَائِهِ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُخَيِّسُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ ، وَهُوَ مَجْهُولٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah Almighty made mercy in 100 parts. One part of it is among His creation, because of which they show mercy to one another, and 99 parts He has kept in reserve for His friends."
At-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Mukhayyis bin Tamim, who is majhul (unknown), and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
