وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لِعَائِشَةَ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ، إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا ، هُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْبِدَعِ ، وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَهْوَاءِ ، لَيْسَ لَهُمْ تَوْبَةٌ ، أَنَا مِنْهُمْ بَرِيءٌ ، وَهُمْ مِنِّي بَرَاءٌ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ بَقِيَّةٌ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her): "O Aishah, indeed those who split up their religion and became divided into different sects, they are the followers of innovation and the followers of base desires. There is no room for repentance for them; I am free of them, and they are free of me."
