بَابُ إِلَى مَتَى تُقْبَلُ تَوْبَةُ الْعَبْدِ .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُؤْمِنٍ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ بِشَهْرٍ إِلَّا قَبِلَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ ، وَأَدْنَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ ، وَقَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِيَوْمٍ أَوْ سَاعَةٍ ، يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ التَّوْبَةَ وَالْإِخْلَاصَ إِلَّا قَبِلَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ " .
قُلْتُ : لَهُ عِنْدَ التِّرْمِذِيِّ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقْبَلُ تَوْبَةَ عَبْدِهِ مَا لَمْ يُغَرْغِرْ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَابَلُتِّيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : لَهُ عِنْدَ التِّرْمِذِيِّ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقْبَلُ تَوْبَةَ عَبْدِهِ مَا لَمْ يُغَرْغِرْ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَابَلُتِّيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no believing servant who repents to Allah Almighty a month before death but that Allah Almighty accepts his repentance; and if he does so even less than that, a day before his death or an hour before, while Allah Almighty knows his repentance and his sincerity, then Allah Almighty accepts his repentance." Allamah al-Haythami says: I say: Al-Tirmidhi recorded from this same Companion
this narration: "Indeed, Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of the servant as long as the death rattle has not come upon him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Yahya bin Abdullah al-Babalutti, who is da'if (weak).
