عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَوْ غُفِرَ لَكُمْ مَا تَأْتُونَ إِلَى الْبَهَائِمِ لَغُفِرَ لَكُمْ كَثِيرٌ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ جَيِّدٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the way you treat animals were forgiven, a great deal of yours would be forgiven."
At-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is jayyid (good).
