Majma al-Zawaid 17509 — Until when the servant's repentance

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Paradise has eight gates; seven of them are closed, and one gate is open for repentance, and it will remain open until the sun rises from its direction (that is, from the west)."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is jayyid (good).
