Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: During travel the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes fast and sometimes not fast, and he would offer two rak'ahs, which he would not leave. The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not add to them, meaning he would not add to the obligatory (prayer).
Imam Ahmad and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded this narration, and Imam al-Bazzar recorded something similar. The narrators of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.

The narrator says: I was travelling among the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions, and some of them were fasting and some were not fasting, and those who were fasting did not find fault with those who were not, nor did the one not fasting find fault with the one fasting.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its narrators have been declared trustworthy, except that the one named Ash'ath bin Abi al-Sha'tha' did not hear from any of the Companions. And Allah knows best.

Imam al-Tabarani recorded in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): On the occasion of the Battle of Hunayn, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out after eighteen days of Ramadan had passed, and he was fasting. The people passed by a river and began looking at it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked them: Do you want to drink? The people said: Shall we drink while you are fasting? So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for a vessel and drank (water). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished with the Battle of Hunayn and the Battle of Ta'if, he came to al-Ji'ranah; there he distributed the spoils of war, and from there he performed Umrah.
Imam Ahmad recorded this narration. The narrators of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih, and among the narrators of Imam al-Tabarani is Sa'id bin Bashir, about whom there is criticism.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed about this, and he gave him the order, so he ended his fast. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for a vessel containing water and took it in his hand. When the people saw that he had drunk the water, they too drank. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: There is also a hadith from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) recorded in the Sahih, but it is other than this one.

It is binding on you to adopt the concession that Allah Almighty has granted you; accept it.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty loves that His concessions be accepted, just as He loves that His firm commands ('aza'im) be acted upon."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Ma'mar bin Abdullah al-Ansari; al-Uqayli said: He is not corroborated in narrating it as marfu' (attributed to the Prophet).

Abdullah bin Yazid bin Adam narrates: Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this hadith to me: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty loves that His concessions be accepted, just as the servant loves His forgiveness."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. The narrator Abdullah bin Yazid was declared da'if (weak) by Ahmad and others.

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty loves that His concessions be taken, just as He loves that His binding commands be taken." She said: I asked: What is meant by His binding commands? He replied: His prescribed obligations.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Umar bin Ubayd, Sahib al-Humur (the donkey-keeper), and he is da'if (weak).
