وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فِي رَمَضَانَ ، فَأُتِيَ بِإِنَاءٍ فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى يَدِهِ ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ النَّاسُ أَفْطَرُوا .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was travelling in Ramadan. A vessel was brought to him, and he took it in his blessed hand. When the people saw him, they too ended their fast.
