Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4916

Abu al-Ash'ath al-Attar narrated about Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Amr al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him): I asked him about fasting during travel, and he said: We would sometimes fast and sometimes not fast; the one not fasting did not find fault with the one fasting, nor did the one fasting find fault with the one not fasting.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. I do not know the narrator named Abu al-Ash'ath al-Attar.
