وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ الْبِرُّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Fasting during travel is not righteousness."
