وَعَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ - وَكَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ السَّقِيفَةِ - قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَيْسَ مِنَ امْبِرِّ امْصِيَامُ فِي امْسَفَرِ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ أَيْضًا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ أَيْضًا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Asim al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the people of al-Saqifah, narrated: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Fasting during travel is not righteousness." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Ibn Majah recorded this narration as narrated by this Companion, with these words: "Fasting during travel is not righteousness."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded this narration. The narrators of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.
Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Ibn Majah recorded this narration as narrated by this Companion, with these words: "Fasting during travel is not righteousness."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded this narration. The narrators of Imam Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.
