وَعَنْ أَبِي طُعْمَةَ قَالَ : كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ : يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، إِنِّي أَقْوَى عَلَى الصِّيَامِ فِي السَّفَرِ . فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَقْبَلْ رُخْصَةَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ مِثْلُ جِبَالِ عَرَفَةَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَإِسْنَادُ أَحْمَدَ حَسَنٌ .

Abu Tu'mah narrates: I was with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). A man came to him and said: O Abu Abd al-Rahman, I have the strength to fast while travelling. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever does not accept the concession of Allah Almighty bears sin as great as the mountains of Arafah."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it. The chain of Ahmad is hasan (good).
