Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the nose is cut off completely, the full blood money (diyah) is due for it; for an eye, fifty camels are due; for a hand, fifty camels are due; for a leg (or foot), fifty are due; for a ja'ifah wound, one third of the blood money for a life is due; for a munaqqilah wound, fifteen are due; for a mudihah, five are due; for a tooth, five are due; and for each finger, ten each are due."

Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled concerning the great, heavy (mughallazah) blood money that thirty hiqqah, thirty jadha'ah, twenty bint labun and twenty male ibn labun are to be paid.

Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He, that is, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), ruled concerning the major, heavy (mughallazah) blood money that thirty bint labun, thirty hiqqah and forty khalifah (pregnant she-camels) are to be paid. And concerning the minor blood money, he ruled that thirty bint labun, thirty hiqqah, twenty bint makhad and twenty male ibn makhad are to be paid. After the passing of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the price of camels rose and the value of dirhams fell, so Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) set the camels of the blood money as equal to six thousand dirhams, reckoning one uqiyah for each camel. Then the price of camels rose and the value of silver fell, so Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) added two thousand dirhams, which comes to two uqiyah for each camel. Then the price of camels rose further and the value of the dirham fell, so Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) completed it at twelve thousand, in which the price of each camel comes to three uqiyah. The narrator said: In the sacred month, one third of the blood money is added, and in the sacred city (al-balad al-haram) a further third is added. The narrator said: So the blood money in the two Sanctuaries comes to a full twenty thousand. The narrator said: It used to be said that from the people of the desert their livestock will be taken, and they will not be obliged to pay in silver or gold (dirhams or dinars), and from every people payment will be taken out of their own particular wealth, in accordance with justice.
Abdullah recorded it in his Ziyadat (the additional narrations he recorded beyond those of his father), within a long hadith that has already passed in the Book of Rulings (Kitab al-Ahkam). The narrator Ishaq bin Yahya did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith Referenceمجمع الزوائد ومنبع الفوائد / كتاب الديات / 10771
Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: In the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the blood money was one hundred camels of four different ages: twenty-five hiqqah, twenty-five jadha'ah, twenty-five bint makhad and twenty-five bint labun. Then came the time of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and the realm expanded. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Not everyone has camels." So the price of one camel was fixed at one uqiyah, and on that basis the blood money came to four thousand dirhams. Then the price of camels rose, and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Assess the price of a camel, and make it one and a half uqiyah." On that basis the amount became six thousand dirhams. Then the price of camels rose again, and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Assess the price of the camels." Their price was set at three uqiyah, and the blood money became twelve thousand dirhams. So twelve thousand was made due from the people of silver; one hundred camels from the people of camels; one thousand dinars from those who pay in gold; two hundred garments (hullah) from those who deal in cloth, each garment worth five dinars; one thousand sheep from the people of sheep; two thousand goats from the people of goats; and two hundred cows from the people of cattle.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu Ma'shar Najih, and a narrator, Salih bin Abi al-Akhdar, and both of them are da'if (weak).

They said: "O Messenger of Allah, this child neither drank anything nor ate anything, nor cried out nor wailed." Abu al-Malih al-Hudhali narrates this statement of his father: There was a man among us named Hamal bin Malik bin al-Nabighah, who had two wives: one of them was from the tribe of Hudhayl and the other from Banu Amir. The woman from Hudhayl struck the belly of the woman from Amir with a tent pole, and the other woman gave birth to a dead child. Hamal bin Malik took the woman who had struck her to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); with that woman was her brother, whose name was Imran bin Uwaymir. When they related the whole incident to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pay its blood money." Imran bin Uwaymir said: "O Prophet of Allah, shall we pay blood money for one who neither ate anything nor drank anything, nor cried out nor wailed? Blood like this goes unavenged." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep this Bedouin-style rhyming away from me! For it, a slave or a slave-woman must be paid, or five hundred, or a horse, or one hundred and twenty goats." That man said: "O Messenger of Allah, this woman has two sons, and both of them are chiefs of the tribe; they are more entitled to pay the blood money on behalf of their mother." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are more entitled than this woman's children to pay the blood money on behalf of your sister." The man said: "I have nothing that I could pay as blood money." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Hamal bin Malik." The narrator said: In those days he was in charge of the charity (sadaqah) of the tribe of Hudhayl, and he was the husband of that woman and the father of the slain child in her womb. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take one hundred and twenty goats from the charity of Hudhayl that is in your charge." And he did so.
