وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : دِيَةُ الْمُعَاهَدِ مِثْلُ دِيَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ . وَقَالَهُ عَلِيٌّ أَيْضًا . وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ إِلَّا أَنَّ مُجَاهِدًا لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنَ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَلَا مِنْ عَلِيٍّ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "The blood money of a dhimmi is like the blood money of a Muslim." Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) also said the same. Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except that the narrator Mujahid heard neither from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) nor from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
