وَعَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ فِي الرَّجُلِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ : هُمَا سَوَاءٌ إِلَى خَمْسٍ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ . وَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ : النِّصْفُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ إِلَّا أَنَّ مُجَاهِدًا لَمْ يُدْرِكِ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ .
Mujahid narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "A man and a woman are counted as equal in payments up to five camels." Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: In every respect (a woman) is counted as half (of a man).
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except that the narrator Mujahid did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
