وَعَنْ الشِّفَاءِ أُمِّ سُلَيْمَانَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - اسْتَعْمَلَ أَبَا جَهْمِ بْنَ حُذَيْفَةَ عَلَى الْمَغَانِمِ ، فَأَصَابَ رَجُلًا بِقَوْسِهِ فَشَجَّهُ مُنَقِّلَةً ، فَقَضَى فِيهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ فَرِيضَةً . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ إِلْيَاسَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyidah Umm Sulayman al-Shifa' (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed Sayyiduna Abu Jahm bin Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) as the official over the spoils of war. He struck a man with his bow and inflicted a munaqqilah wound on him, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made fifteen shares (camels) due for it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Khalid bin Ilyas, who is matruk (abandoned).
