وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَضَى فِي دِيَةِ الْعُظْمَى الْمُغَلَّظَةِ بِثَلَاثِينَ حِقَّةً ، وَثَلَاثِينَ جَذَعَةً ، وَعِشْرِينَ بَنَاتِ لَبُونٍ ، وَعِشْرِينَ بَنِي لَبُونٍ ذُكُورٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يَحْيَى لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عُبَادَةَ .
Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled concerning the great, heavy (mughallazah) blood money that thirty hiqqah, thirty jadha'ah, twenty bint labun and twenty male ibn labun are to be paid.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. The narrator Ishaq bin Yahya did not hear from Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him).
